So, I live up in the frozen tundra and often times our cars are covered in a salty slurry that makes it look like someone threw a can of paint at it. Anyway, I wash off my ride and underneath the salty slurry was a present that some dickless piece of shit decided to leave me.

Kinja'd!!!

Any body shop folks in the hizzy that could give me a rough estimate on how much it might cost to get this fixed? The top mark is about 3 inches long and it looks like the left side of that mark went down to the primer. There is also just a hint of a dent on that top one as well. Think that could be popped out? Otherwise, I will just hit it with some touch-up paint and cry myself to sleep at night.

Thanks!

I feel you. My rear passenger quarter panel looks like a maniac with a rock hammer went to town on it. I just buff out what I can, apply touch up paint, and tell myself that I'll take it to the shop to get them all fixed someday.

Then I cry myself to sleep.

You could try to pop the little ding out and then clay bar the area to get any residual surface contaminates out and then polish out as much of the white. After doing that you can try putting touch-up paint on it and since it never comes out correctly from the bottle try to polish the touch-up paint once it cures to get a better blend. That really sucks. Hope you can get it looking acceptable again.
